Bundling, bundling, bundling.  A common theme in the CPT changes for 2011.  Attend this session you will receive an overview of the 2011 CPT changes as well as discussion on applicable coding instruction/parenthetical changes and revisions, and coding change rationale.

Tamara Carey, CPC


Tamara is the Senior Coding and Compliance Educator at Dean Health Systems. With more than 25 years of experience, Tamara works with healthcare professionals to reduce compliance risk. She educates and trains physicians and coders on CPT/ICD-9 coding guidelines, Medicare rules and regulations, and overall compliance. Tamara’s current responsibilities include auditing physician coding and documentation, as well as auditing and educating the coding staff at Dean.


Tamara is the current President of the Madison Area Chapter AAPC, and has been a CPC and a member of the

American Academy of Professional Coders since 1999.
