Responsibilities
- Award scholarships to area coding students who intend to become members of MAC-AAPC.
- Award scholarships to coders who are members of MAC-AAPC or intend to become
members of MAC-AAPC.
Scholarship Criteria
- Scholarship awards are limited to one every two years.
- Scholarship recipients that receive an award for a seminar or conference shall be required to provide a brief overview of their experience at chapter meeting within three months of the event.
- Annual AAPC membership dues are not an eligible item for a scholarship award.
- Scholarship recipients must pay in advance for their item/event and submit a receipt for reimbursement to the MAC-AAPC
- officer below
- Scholarship recipients have 30 days after the
- event to turn in their receipt for reimbursement.
